Overview

GP-Run Continuation Care for Patients with an Existing ADHD Diagnosis

The Key Health ADHD Continuation Clinic provides ongoing care for patients aged 6 years and older who already have a confirmed ADHD diagnosis and are stable on their current medication.

Eligibility Criteria

You qualify for a Key Health ADHD Continuation Appointment if:

  • You are aged 6 years or older

  • You have a confirmed ADHD diagnosis by a psychiatrist, paediatrician, or neurologist
    (diagnosis letter or SafeScript record required)

  • You are stable on your current medication

  • You have or can complete blood tests and ECG within the past 12 months

What to Expect

During your consultation, your GP will:

  • Assess symptoms, side effects, and treatment response

  • Continue or make minor same-class adjustments

  • Check ECG, blood pressure and weight (for in-person visits)

  • Complete an ADHD symptom questionnaire if indicated


Annual Requirements

To ensure safe prescribing, all patients must complete:

  • Annual blood test (FBC, liver, renal, electrolytes)

  • Annual ECG or as clinically indicated

*ECG and blood tests ordered as required, and may not apply to children

Before Your Appointment

Please ensure you:

  • Have recently completed or willing to complete a blood test and ECG 

  • Provide your specialist diagnosis letter or SafeScript record

  • Bring your current prescription details

  • Credit card details required, cancellation fees apply if <12 hours

These consultations allow us to:

✅ Continue existing prescriptions

✅ Monitor medication response and safety

✅ Perform required annual investigations (blood test and ECG)

This service is not suitable for:

❌ New ADHD diagnoses

❌ Unstable symptoms or major medication changes

❌ Patients who are  not willing to complete required investigations (blood test and ECG)This service is not suitable for:
