Dr Dr Fadzeela Sood

General Practitioner

BMedSc MBBS (USyd), FRACGP

Dr Ella (Fadzeela) Sood completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Sydney in 2011. She spent the following three years gaining experience across a broad range of specialties within NSW Health—including paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, psychiatry, geriatrics, oncology and general medicine—before specialising in Australian General Practice.

She conducted research on infection control in GP waiting rooms, which she then presented at a national general practice conference. Since 2017, she has contributed to the education of future doctors through teaching and assessment roles with the University of New South Wales. Dr Sood became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in 2018 and has since worked in various practices and aged care facilities across Sydney prior to joining Key Health Bondi.

In addition to her general practice training, Dr Sood holds a certificate in the theory of Reproductive and Sexual Health through the FPAA and is currently undertaking further studies in Integrative Medicine.

She is committed to providing high-quality, holistic medical care and believes in the value of lifelong learning to keep abreast of evolving medical knowledge and evidence based practice.

Dr Sood’s clinical interests centre around pregnancy and preconception care, women’s and children’s health, chronic disease management, and mental health. She also provides care in disability medicine, WorkCover, student health, geriatrics, preventive health, and travel medicine— areas in which she has both personal interest and extensive experience. Her background as a respite carer for children with disabilities continues to inform her empathic manner.

A mother of two young children herself, she has a warm, compassionate style and looks forward to helping you become the healthiest version of yourself.
