Dr Robin Hughes
MBBS
Dr. Robin Hughes is a vocationally registered GP who graduated from the University of Sydney following her training at Concord Hospital. She has worked at Concord, Auburn, and Ryde hospitals, and spent over 30 years practicing on the Northern Beaches. Additionally, she served as a Staff GP at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) for 35 years. With the recent closure of the RNSH Staff GP service, Dr. Hughes is committed to continuing the care of many long-standing staff patients, some of whom she has treated for decades.
Her clinical interests include menopause management, endocrinology, arthritis, autoimmune conditions, and general adult medicine.
Dr. Hughes is currently the only practitioner from the former Staff GP team still consulting. Due to a recent shoulder injury, her consulting hours are limited.
She focuses exclusively on adult care and does not see children. All consultations are privately billed. However, bulk billing may be offered to regular patients based on clinical need. Long-term patients from the Staff GP clinic may be eligible for a staff discount. New patients will be charged standard private fees.
As she is immunocompromised, Dr. Hughes does not see patients with viral symptoms in person. Telehealth appointments are available for her existing patients or patients from Key Health.
